This FEMA Website shows the number of fires and fire related deaths in the United States.  This information is broken down by type of fire and shows the number of deaths, injuries and the direct dollar loss.

Global Incidents Map

The Websites has a map showing terrorism event and other suspicious activities.  The map is constantly updated and a brief description of each incident.

Campus Firewatch

Campus Firewatch is a monthly, electronic newsletter focusing on the complex issues of campus fire safety.

Sparky

The Sparky Website is for Kids.  It teaches them about fire safety while they read stories and play games.

US Consumer Product Safety Commission

This site offers a list of fire safety publications from the US Consumer Products Safety Commission.

Smokey Bear

This is the official Website of Smoke Bear dedicated to preventing forest fires.  The site contains articles as well as a Kids space with games and activities.  Included in the downloadable documents are Kids activities books, teacher’s guides and posters.

Firewise Communities

Firewise Communities is a multi-agency effort designed to reach beyond the fire service by involving homeowners, community leaders, planners, developers, and others in the effort to protect people, property, and natural resources from the risk of wildland fire - before a fire starts.

FireSafety.gov

The FireSafety.gov Website is sponsored by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Consumer Products Safety Commission and the U.S. Fire Administration.  It is an information resource for the eliminating residential fire deaths.  The site also has a kids site that teaches children about fire safety.
