The NEW & IMPROVED Whiffs Tac-Air-Pro mask is now available. With the same proven technology as the original Brush Pro Mask, only with a sleeker design; the new & improved Whiffs Brush Pro Mask is easier to put on and take off. We’ve replaced the Velcro head strapping system with an elastic band made of Nomex ® material! Rather than using the ‘over the head’ strapping system, you’ll simply need to tie the elastic band behind your neck. It will no longer be necessary to remove your helmet or any other gear. The Whiffs Tac-Air-Pro mask was developed for police and SWAT departments. The mask is made of Black Advance Nomex, which carries a 1050º radiant heat rating. The breathing port of the mask is made of Black Nomex knitted hood material which also carries a 1050° heat rating. Included with this product is a detachable elastic head strap. This strapping system secures the mask and filter to the officer’s head, assuring that the mask will not slip down in any type of tactical situation. The Tac-Air-Pro mask is lined with blue Indura Ultra Soft cloth with a hydro lone finish. This material helps to wick moisture from the officer’s face and prevents the transfer of radiant heat to the skin. While this mask was designed for police and SWAT officers, it can be used for wildland firefighting and for structural overhaul/mop-up. Its sleek design makes it comfortable to wear, even in hot climates. The black Velcro attachment point at the bridge of the nose on the outside of the Tac-Air-Pro mask should be used for attaching to the goggles. The Tac-Air-Pro mask weighs 2.0 oz. It is machine washable in cold water, and should be hung to dry. (Xcaper Tactical Black filters are sold separately.) Each mask comes with one Xcaper professional filter.
